Change to notification of attendance
Starting week 3 Nimbin Central School will be trialling Absences notification via SMS. This will allow parents & carers to reply to the SMS with the reason that their child is not at school.
You can help support this new process by ensuring your mobile number and email address are up to date. You can simply update your details via the School Stream App (available from the App Store or Google Play), emailing the School at nimbin-c.school@det.nsw.edu.au or phoning the office on 02 6689 1355.
Like with any new process we understand there could be some hiccups and we appreciate your patience and understanding. If you do receive a SMS stating your child is absent and you believe your child is at school please notify the school ASAP by simply replying to the SMS or phoning the school so we can investigate the anomaly.
